Another month has flown by in the blink of an eye. If I were to describe the theme of this past month, it’s all about nesting – practicing self-care and making our new living space feel more like a home during this seasonal transition.
From non-toxic paint to aperitifs, here’s what I’ve tried and loved in the month of October.
Ojook Bamboo Salt Toothpaste
This is the most unique toothpaste I’ve ever tried in my life – and I love it. A little salty, a little taste of pine, a whole lot of clean fresh breath. Made from nano-hydroxyapatite and Korean medicinal bamboo salt, this toothpaste has been shown to work just as well as -if not better than- fluoride toothpaste.
Block Scheduling
I’ve always been enamored by the idea of block scheduling, but I haven’t made it a priority until this past month. Our writer Kaylee recently wrote this article that gave me the nudge I desperately needed to start time blocking again – and now I can’t live without it.

Color Atelier Lime wash Paint
Meet one of the best non-toxic, chic paints that’s making a serious debut this year. I bought lime wash paint for my office and it has completely transformed the look and feel. No VOC’s, easy to use, and gives the walls subtle elegant texture. 10/10 recommend getting this brand of paint on Amazon.
Heart & Soil Fire Starter

Haus
Probably my favorite find of the month. Haus offers a collection apéritifs that are complex in flavor, lower in alcohol, and ideal to sip on alone or blended into a drink of your choosing. The peach passionfruit might be my favorite flavor – not too sweet and gives off a little tiki drink vibe without the hangover. This makes for the perfect holiday gift for friends and coworkers.
Primally Pure Autumn Home Collection
I don’t think I’ve ever received so many compliments on a hand soap in my life (and most of them were from men!) This collection of autumn-inspired soaps, room sprays and diffuser blends made my home smell like pure fall heaven.
