Looking for a quick and easy way to make your white rice more nutritious and flavorful? Swap your water for bone broth.

Beef bone broth is one of the most nutrient-dense liquids on the planet. Not only does bone broth have a rich, savory flavor profile, but it also packs a punch when it comes to nutrients. It’s rich in protein and minerals like calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus. Bone broth is also an excellent source of collagen, a type of protein that’s essential for healthy bones, joints, skin, and hair. By using bone broth as the cooking liquid for your rice, you’ll be able to infuse the dish with all these beneficial nutrients.

Similarly, bovine bone marrow is also rich in nutrients like iron, zinc, and omega-3 fatty acids, which can help support your overall health and wellbeing. By swapping out traditional water and oil for bone broth and bone marrow, you’ll instantly get a boost of protein and a host of other beneficial nutrients to your meal.

When it comes to bone broth and bone marrow, not all products are created equal. It’s important to choose a high-quality, regenerative bone broth made from grass-fed and grass-finished animals that have been raised in a humane and sustainable way. This ensures that the broth is free from harmful additives and is rich in the beneficial nutrients that come from animals that have been allowed to graze on nutrient-dense grasses.

We believe in using only the best ingredients in our recipes, which is why we love Perennial Pastures Ranch. They provide some of the highest quality, regenerative bone broth we have come across, made from grass-fed and grass-finished animals that are raised using regenerative farming practices. With Perennial Pastures Ranch, you can trust that you’re getting a product that’s not only delicious but also good for your health and the environment. (Use code THEHIVE for 10% off your first order.)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of organic white rice
  • 2 cups of bone broth
  • 1 tablespoon of bone marrow
  • Salt (to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the rice in a fine-mesh strainer and drain the water.

  2. In a medium-sized saucepan, melt the bone marrow over medium heat.

  3. Add the rice to the saucepan and stir to coat it with the melted bone marrow.

  4. Pour the bone broth into the saucepan and add salt to taste. Give everything a good stir.

  5. Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to low and cover the saucepan with a lid.

  6. Let the rice cook for 15-20 minutes, or until all the liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender.

  7. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it sit covered for 5-10 minutes to allow the rice to absorb any remaining liquid.

  8. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve hot.

That’s it! You now have a delicious and flavorful bowl of white rice that’s packed with the nutritional benefits of bone broth and bone marrow. Enjoy!
